Students also have the opportunity to spend up to six months abroad as part of the program.
Among the many auditoriums and classrooms there are special apartments for guests (3 rooms: 2 double rooms and 1 single room). On campus there are three cozy cafeterias for teachers and students, five coffee machines, a bookstore, photocopiers, ATMs, a post office and much more. There are also car parks with 400 places for students and 70 additional places for teachers and staff. There is a tram stop right in front of the academy, and it only takes 15-20 minutes to get to the center of Warsaw.
Infrastructure. 60% of all auditoriums and lecture halls are equipped with the latest generation of equipment, plasma monitors, visualizers, TVs, tape recorders and VCRs. Each student has access to seven computer labs with 235 PCs, which are updated every four years, as well as Wi-Fi wireless internet. There is a student council, thanks to which training is harmoniously complemented by many interesting and exciting activities. An important criterion of student activity is the 21 scientific communities operating within the academy.
Cultural and sports life is also widely represented in the academy. The main hall (600 m2) not only provides an excellent recreation area for students, but is also used as an exhibition space, which regularly hosts book fairs and art exhibitions. And the art gallery “U Koźmińskiego”, in turn, serves as a kind of epicenter of cultural meetings of teachers and students. The academy is also proud of its Kameleon student chamber choir, which has reached the international level and won many awards.
The Academic Sports Association of the university organizes various events and supports the work of sports sections, 14 of them: football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, table tennis, aikido, sailing, judo, twoevent competition, aerobics, downhill skiing, golf and diving.
Accommodation. BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, MBA LAW, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSUNDERGRADUATE (BBA)
The term of study is three years.
English language programs:
BBA program in management – leads to a degree equivalent to BSc or BComm, and gives the opportunity to specialize in entrepreneurship, marketing and international management.
BBA program in finance and accounting – the goal of this program is to train technically competent professionals with high ethical standards and a good business acumen. Graduates can count on the widest possible range of career opportunities in all areas of business.
The double bachelor’s program in Management and Placement Industry gives students the opportunity to participate in a unique international educational project that allows them to study in two countries and optimize their academic knowledge with practical experience gained in the German and Polish markets. The first three semesters are taught at DHBW University in Mannheim, Germany, and the last three at Leon Kozminsky Academy. Graduates receive diplomas from two universities, respectively.
Programs in Polish: management, administration, psychology in management, finance and accounting, European studies, economics – foreign markets, sociology.
MASTER’S DEGREE (MSc)
The training period is two years.
English language programs:
The Master of Science (MSc) in International Business and Management (IBM) is an academic degree awarded jointly with Bradford University (UK) to specialize in international strategic management. The program provides students with decision-making skills and helps develop creative ideas for key business decisions based on a thorough academic understanding of business practices. Students also have the opportunity to spend up to six months abroad as part of the program.
Master’s degree in Management (full-time and part-time programs) is a program that allows you to specialize in strategic management, human resource management, management and consulting. The program is designed so that students can either start their own careers in business or improve their academic experience later in doctoral studies. IBM MSc students are also actively involved in international exchange programs.
ABE International Master in Management is a double master’s degree program in conjunction with the School of Management in Grenoble, France. This program is unique in its kind and is open to only two students a year. Selection is made after the first semester on the basis of high academic performance (GPA), as well as academic participation. The first year of study takes place at the Academy of Leon Kozminsky, and the second – in France.
The Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Accounting is a program that allows you to specialize in corporate finance, corporate reporting and accounting, and the international fight against money laundering. The program provides specialized in-depth knowledge and develops the skills of analyzing complex business problems by combining financial and accounting information with knowledge from other areas.
There are also Executive MBA and LLM programs in international commercial law (equivalent to the MBA in Management).
Programs in Polish: management, finance and accounting, sociology, psychology in management, administration, as well as a master’s program in law.
DOCTORAL STUDIES (PhD)
The term of study is three years (6 semesters).
The PhD program in Management is more designed for those seeking an academic career or interested in research in management, finance, or economics. The university has created excellent conditions for this and provides all possible support from outstanding professors with many years of experience.
SUMMER SCHOOL
Summer school programs are represented by the following language courses: intensive English course, Polish language courses and intensive English language course for the Pearson exam, level 3. Unique variety of educational programs and worldwide recognition
The University of Vienna (German: Universität Wien, international name – University of Vienna) is an absolutely unique university with a unique centuries-old history; the oldest university in the entire German-speaking world and one of the largest in Central Europe. Its founder was Duke Rudolf IV, who in 1365 opened an educational institution, which according to literary sources became in his honor called Alma Mater Rudolphina Vindobonensis. In 2015, the University of Vienna celebrates its 650th anniversary.
About 92,000 students are currently studying at the University of Vienna. They are offered a wide selection of 187 educational programs: 55 undergraduate programs, 116 master’s programs, 4 diploma programs and 12 doctoral programs. In addition, the presence of 9,700 employees, including 6,900 scientists, makes the University of Vienna the largest educational and research institution in Austria.
Internationalization. The University of Vienna is the central and most important actor in the internationalization of the tertiary sector of the economy in Austria. This is due to the size of the university, the range of subjects taught in it, the excellent location and active implementation of the strategy of internationalization.
